We are delighted to welcome Patience Tram to the Diversity in Sustainability Team! Patience will be spending her work term with us helping us think through our approach to engaging Indigenous communities across turtle Island, among other research and engage tasks.

A little bit more about Patience: she is currently working towards completing her Bachelor of Science at Mount Royal University. Within her degree, Patience has found a passion for environmental and animal conservation and is also working towards completing her minor in Women and Gender Studies where has developed interest in exploring the dynamic experiences and concerns of marginalized populations. Patience is both Vietnamese and Indigenous with strong ties to her Ojibwe community in Ontario, where she has represented her nation at Conferences for Indigenous youth.

Her interests include travelling, hiking, and embracing new experiences and cultures. She is the eldest of seven children and is currently learning how to speak Japanese.

Patience can be reached at patience@diversityinsustainability.com. Welcome, Patience!
