Join robyn eason for her Office Hours on November 20!
robyn exists to do the work of a human being embodying compassion, empathy and love. Her life and career have been centered in nurturing climate and community action within the built environment, enjoying the diversity of people, places and all living things that make our world fascinating and unique. Previously, robyn was the Long Range Planning & Sustainability Manager at the City of West Hollywood, CA, and built an award-winning sustainability program committed to an intersectional approach. This included a portfolio of projects, including electrical vehicle charging readiness, clean energy initiatives, water efficiency and conservation, climate action planning, and green building. robyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from The Catholic University of America in Northeast Washington (DC) and a Master’s in City and Regional Planning from Clemson University in Clemson (SC). She has served active roles in the American Institute of Certified Planners, the Urban Sustainability Directors Network, the Urban Land Institute, and the US Green Building Council-Los Angeles. She is also the co-founder of the California BIPOC Sustainability Network and has made recent explorations in sustainable wine production and regenerative/biodynamic viticulture. robyn has been experimenting in 'right livelihood' this year--designing a lifestyle that provides more ease, joy, and reciprocity for her and her community, immersing herself in learning experiences in new subjects and freelancing in environmental sustainability and equity topics.
